I just uploaded a new remix I did with my talented friend Alkama for Derek Howell’s “Dark Horse”. It’s gonna be released soon on MicroCastle Music and you can hear a preview on SoundCloud.

I was fortunate enough to meet the man in Belgium, while he was playing alongside my friend Pole Folder, and I was suprised to discover that he’s a very nice and shy guy, with his feet very much on the ground. I just stumbled upon an old interview he did for the launch of his Invol2ver CD and I think he sums up perfectly what the whole progressive gig is about.

It’s not often that I truly fall in love with a track, so much that I keep playing it over and over 24/7. The last time it happened, I think, was when I heard Quivver’s beautiful “These Are The Days”. I couldn’t help pressing start again and again when the 10 minutes and 40 seconds were over.

Well, it’s happening again. My crush of the moment is this beauty, Elegant Universe feat. Adir Ohayon – Modern Time (Original Mix), on friskyRecords.
