I’m very happy to announce that SilkSofa is going to release a brand new EP I made with my fellow Chrisman. It’s a downtempo thing called “Our Fantastic Life EP” and there’s a preview on our brand new MySpace.
Enjoy!
After signing back onto Facebook a few days ago, I now also hang out @ Twitter. So if you wanna follow my daily crap, it’s over there: http://twitter.com/Faskil.
On the music side, I’m currently working on a remix for Derek Howell, for a track called “It’s All Gravy Baby” that’ll be released on Polytechnic Recordings later this year. A pretty tough job because the original version is such a powerful gem. Right after that, I’m gonna start working on my first EP for Frisky Records which I’m very excited about, to say the least. :D
FYI, the next releases in line are : Silly feat 3pm (coming out on September the 30th on Polytechnic Recordings, with both Vocal & Dub mixes, as well as remixes from Derek Howell and Bitfiend), Crappy Morning (on FeralCode, with remixes from FeralCode himself and Guillaume Nyckees, release date unknown), Rezi (on Silk Digital, with remixes from Coalesced, Bambaat, Chrisman and Ilya Malyuev, release date unknown, probably September as well). No news about a potential release date for You Know What I Mean (on Ascension Records) but having received the Alex Hall remixes a few weeks ago, I guess it’s still a go).
Cheers!

After witnessing Faskil’s fantastic mixing skills and understanding about music, I have no doubt about his ability to set the dance floor on fire. His unique gift is further reflected through his phenomenal productions and remixes.
