Sasha on progressive music

I was fortunate enough to meet the man in Belgium, while he was playing alongside my friend Pole Folder, and I was suprised to discover that he’s a very nice and shy guy, with his feet very much on the ground. I just stumbled upon an old interview he did for the launch of his Invol2ver CD and I think he sums up perfectly what the whole progressive gig is about.

Hearsays

Faskil’s work as both a DJ and a producer spans a vast spectrum of electronic genius. He is fluid from a technical perspective, but more importantly his creativity is unleashed in his track selection. He has a penchant for working the floor not only with massive tunes, but also with lesser-known gems which many may have overlooked, giving him an ultimately fresh sound. He is renowned in the online community for his monthly “Silly Waffles” show on Frisky Radio, however his sets only truly come to life when he is playing live. Faskil has my utmost respect, and I would not hesitate to give him a recommendation of the highest standing. — Jason Calvert, Progressive Sounds
