Barely recovering from a bad case of pharyngitis that kept me under the sheets for a few days, I worked a bit more on the Coalesced remix, ’cause the clock is ticking, I’m running late and the label is expecting a final version pretty soon. Almost everything is in place now, all I need to do is work a little bit more on the structure and add a few twists here and there.

Anyways here’s a preview of what I have so far…

If you are new to this website, here’s how it works: usually, from time to time, I upload samples from stuff I’m working on. Right now, it’s a remix for my Coalesced friends, for a track called “Technique” (for which Derek Howell and Grid System are also doing remixes). I started messing around with the original parts and added a few of my own, namely new drums and bass lines. Here’s what I came up with after roughly an hour of work.

I’m probably gonna use this part for the intro of the track, then switch to the main melody. But more on that later, folks! Have a good one!

This is a (very) short track I did for my friends at Gameblog.fr. It’s a 30 second drum & bass tune that should fit at the beginning of their podcasts. If they like it, of course.

Funny how the smaller you go, the harder it gets to squeeze everything you want in. But I’m pretty happy about the result. What do you think?

James Warren just told me he used his Coalesced remix of Rezi on his latest DJ set for Hybridized. You can download the whole thing here.

Rezi is still scheduled on Silk Digital, some time around this summer.

My latest track, called Crappy Morning, is scheduled to be released some time this year on Hungarian label FeralCode. No word yet on potential remixers.

I’m happy to announce that my collaboration with US singer Casey Clark (aka 3pm) will be released later this year by US label Polytechnic Recordings. Derek Howell has already signed on to do a remix.
